Walking through a season of change and transition...
“An ending, it turns out, is the perfect place for a new start.”- Christine Caine
For anyone going through a season and embarking on the end, this is encouragement for you.
Whether you are about to graduate and enter into post-grad, a high school senior about to enter college, or ending a season at your current job and looking at going somewhere else, seasons changing and ending can be scary. I am a senior at Oklahoma State about to endure post-grad life. I have no clue what the future holds or where I am going to be, but there is beauty in that.
This past morning I was praying, just filled with stress, and I so clearly felt the Lord say, “You are not the decision maker, you are just called to be an obedient follower.” WOW. This just takes off all of the weight and the pressure of feeling like you have to have it all figured out!! As this season of life comes to an end, whatever that may look like for you, here is your reminder to look down at where your feet are planted. God has you right here right now for a reason. He is a good and faithful Father and He is going to guide you, one obedient step at a time. Yes, change can be scary, but it is also necessary. When summer comes to an end and the leaves change,
this is beautiful. The leaves are changing in your life, friend. Welcome that and trust that God is going to turn the end into a beautiful beginning.
